ICC Gala Event Sept. 21st for inception of ETDA

It is super important to celebrate #success. Thanks to ICC United Kingdom for hosting a fun gala to mark the passing of digital trade document act. Changing a law used extensively for #globaltrade to enable digital trade is a landmark. It is just the beginning, #digitaltrade won’t just happen as we laid out in the digital trade #roadmap in 2017. Other countries need to follow, the work on standards needs to accelerate #iccdsi Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) and as industry we need to commercially adopt the new #opportunities created.

Chris Southworth in action

What a historic and memorable night at the ICC Gala Event last night! Congratulations to everyone involved in the work done to make this law change a reality. A super special thank you to the cheerleader of the industry: Chris Southworth, the secretary general of the ICC UK.
