In his last role, Alex was the Global Head of Sales & Origination for Finverity, a Digital Supply Chain Finance Platform providing technology, working capital and expertise to give banks, NBFIs, & companies a strategic advantage.
As Global Head of Trade & Working Capital of Bank of London & Middle East (BLME). He developed the Sharia Finance rules for BAFT & a member of the Export Credit Working Group advising the UK government.
He gained admittance to the UK Export Finance (UKEF) panel of banks for ECA, Working Capital & Bond Support Scheme while Head of Trade for CEMEA at DNB Bank.
Before that, 30 years at Barclays Bank where his last role was as Global Trade Finance
Director for Multinational Corporations in the Fortune 500 and FTSE 100.
A Community Leader since 1991. Former Leader of Wycombe District Council, instrumental in a £200 Million development of High Wycombe Town Centre & redevelopment of Junction 4 M40 including £25 million Sport Centre. Keen interest in Education & Child poverty, setting up & running food banks during COVID, delivering 4,200 food boxes for children.
