Amit Garg is a corporate banking, trade and fintech expert. His former roles include CEO of a neobank and managing director at Standard Chartered Bank.

Amit's notable achievements include the setup, launch and leadership of a digital, challenger bank in the United Arab Emirates. In 2017, Amit pioneered the first-ever blockchain-enabled trade finance solution for a global bank. Moreover, he conceptualised a crypto-token-based settlement model for financial institutions, showcasing his deep understanding of emerging technologies and their potential in the financial landscape.

Amit has a wealth of experience in global wholesale banking, particularly in origination, structuring and distribution. He has deep subject matter expertise in trade finance, working capital and structured solutions.

With his comprehensive knowledge of both conventional and digital banking, Amit possesses a unique perspective on the industry and has experience in managing all aspects of a start-up business lifecycle from ideation to execution, team building, regulator management and investor engagement.
