Carmen Ling is an expert in RMB internationalisation, transaction banking and real estate financing with over 25 years of experience in corporate and institutional banking.

Carmen was the former global head of RMB internationalisation/Belt & Road for Standard Chartered and was instrumental in building a global RMB and Belt & Road team for the bank. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, she held senior positions at Citi Hong Kong as head of global transaction services, head of global relationship banking and head of real estate. She has extensive experience in trade finance, treasury solutions, securities services, real estate as well as strong client coverage background.

Carmen is currently an independent non-executive director for Macau Property Opportunities Fund Limited, a real estate investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange. She is also actively involved in a number of non-governmental charitable organisations in Hong Kong with a focus on youth development.
