Daniel Cotti is a founding partner at T3i. He is a respected expert in trade finance, with over 30 years of experience in global corporate banking and more than seven years of expertise in fintech and blockchain technology.

He is the founder and CEO of Cotti Trade & Treasury, a consulting practice for digital trade finance.

Previously, Daniel served as the managing director of the Centre of Excellence, Banking and Trade at Marco Polo Network, a startup trade finance platform leveraging the Corda distributed ledger technology by R3. He also held the position of non-executive chairman at Bolero, a digital trade finance platform sold to WiseTech in 2022.

Before that, he led trade and treasury management positions with global P&L responsibilities for Citibank, ABN Amro, RBS and JP Morgan.

Additionally, Daniel was a non-executive board member at GLEIF and played a crucial role in establishing the Digital Standards Initiative (DSI) under the International Chamber of Commerce.

Daniel has acquired deep subject matter expertise in trade finance digitalisation using new technologies, business models and legal frameworks. He has an extensive network of trade experts around the globe with whom he engages to provide consultancy services to industry participants in the digital trade space.
