Coming from a capital markets background, Frédéric progressively added credit insurance and reinsurance to his armoury, regularly bridging the two worlds of funding and protection.

After a number of years as an equity financial analyst with Natexis Bleichroeder, he joined the Coface head-office to take over Asset Management, M&A and Reinsurance. He was then asked to oversee all refinancing and treasury functions, setting up a securitisation scheme and a suite of funding options for the group’s invoice discounting business.

Frédéric was appointed Managing Director of Coface in the UK & Ireland in 2012. During the eleven years in charge of this business unit, he set to develop the insurer’s global franchise, with a specific focus on financial institutions, bringing solutions for fintechs, asset managers and banks alike.

His intimate knowledge of funding and securitisation structures, as well as their regulatory framework, enables him to tailor programmes across the trade finance industry.
