Torsten is co-founder and Managing Director of HTK Connect Pte Ltd, a consulting firm that supports companies in establishing and develop success business in Japan, Thailand, and Singapore.

Torsten gained his extensive experience spending more than 30 years in the FI sector working for Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered Bank in Europe, Japan and Singapore. In Banking his coverage included retail banking, transaction banking, corporate relationship management and bank-wide COO roles.

In business Torsten is passionate about stakeholder management / engagement, strategy development / implementation, cultural awareness, and process effectiveness.

Torsten is a Permanent Resident in Singapore and is frequently in Thailand and Japan. Next to his native German he is fluent in English and Japanese.
