Subra is a tech industry veteran with a track record of 35 years successfully building and running businesses across entire Asia Pacific. He has grown in the past decade as a respected voice in digitisation of trade.

As founder and principal of TOTTA, he is driven by his core belief on digitization is all about bridging the Trade Finance gap especially for the SME’s across the world. He is also a firm believer the role of non-banking financial institutions in the Trade Finance will have to grow exponentially by 2030 for us to fill the gap.

To this end Subra is passionate about effective technology to define new financing models, ensure transparency, reduce perceived risk, and build new financing chain connecting multilateral developmental financial institutions, commercial banks, and non-banking financial institutions. Subra advises various institutions in this financing chain, on both business and technology.

In the decades before his trade tech leadership, he has run APAC BU’s for companies such Intel, Autodesk. Groupe Bull, and CA. He has and continues to be an active early stage investor in tech start-ups in Singapore and India. His other passion is in F&B retail and he owns the oldest running pub in Singapore.
